The Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation ("PMAHCC," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and when it is shared.

We collect information you provide when you become a member, register for an event or program, apply for a grant, subscribe to communications, or contact us. We use your information to provide membership services, manage event and program registrations, administer grants, respond to questions, and share news about chamber programs, events, and opportunities.

Text Messaging

We only send text messages to people who have given us consent to text them. Consent to receive text messages is never required to become a member, register for an event, or receive our services. To opt out, reply STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP to any message or contact us at chamber@pmahcc.org.

When Your Information Is Shared

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your information stays within PMAHCC except in the following cases:

- Event partners: When you register for an event we host with a partner organization, you consent to your registration information (such as your name, business name, and email address) being shared with that partner for purposes related to the event.

- Program sponsors: When you register for or participate in an event or program whose sponsors are named on that event or program, you consent to your registration information being shared with those named sponsors.

- Service providers: We use trusted service providers, such as our membership, payment, and phone systems, to operate the chamber. They may access your information only to perform services for us.

- Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law.

Mobile phone numbers, text message opt-in data, and text messaging consent are never shared with event partners, sponsors, or any third party, as described in our SMS Terms and Conditions below.

SMS Terms and Conditions

Message Types

You will receive conversational text messages from Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation that answer your questions, confirm event and program registrations, and provide support related to membership, programs, and events. You will not receive any other types of text messages.

To opt out, reply STOP to any message.

Data Sharing

- Customer data is not shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

- Mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing that may be mentioned elsewhere in this policy excludes mobile opt-in data.

Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation Messaging Terms and Conditions

1. The messaging program consists of general conversational messaging to answer questions and provide support to customers.

2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the phone number from which you received messages. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

3. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at chamber@pmahcc.org.

4. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency will vary based on communication needs. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
