Our Foundation

The Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation (PMAHCCF) is a 501(c)(3) organization created:

  • To promote the growth of the Hispanic business community in the region,
  • To provide academic, professional, and technical opportunities to community members,
  • To participate in charitable activities, including assisting the PMAHCC (the Chamber), in the raising of funds to support the development of programs that will benefit the membership
  • And to promote Hispanic culture, languages, history, and art in the region.

At this time our main project is the Scholarship Program which includes a General Scholarship for Latino/Hispanic students who will continue studies after graduating from high school; and the Rob Vega Memorial Scholarship awarded to a Latino/Hispanic Law School Student who display the same Academic, Familial and Civic qualities that Rob did.

Most of the funds for both scholarships come from the Hispanic Heritage Month Gala every two years. We also raise funds through several smaller fundraising events during the year and through individual donors from the community.

The Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s members and their supporters encourage you and the whole community to contribute to this project and help support outstanding Latino/Hispanic students in our community.
